Two men sentenced to 25 years imprisonment on serious offence charges.

On Wednesday 8th December 2021 in the Supreme court of Providenciales, 26-year-old Shavez Musgrove and 31-year-old Andrew Washington Parker were each sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment for several serious offences.

The charges, stemmed from a report made on Tuesday, 18th July 2017, by three complainants; an investigation immediately commenced.

Shavez Musgrove was found guilty and sentenced to prison for 3 counts of Rape (15 years), 3 counts of Kidnapping (10 years), 2 counts of Robbery (10 years), 3 counts of Possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear (15 years), and Taking a Motor vehicle without Authority (3 years).

Andrew Parker was found guilty and sentenced to prison for 3 counts of Rape (15 years), 3 counts of Kidnapping (10 years), 2 counts of Robbery (10 years), 3 counts of Possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear (15 years), and Taking a Motor vehicle without Authority (3 years).

The sentence of 10 years for kidnapping for both males will begin after the 15 years sentenced for rape.

The sentence of 15 years for Possession of Imitation Firearm will run concurrent with the Rape term of 15 years.

The sentence of 3 years for Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Authority will run concurrently with the kidnapping term of 10 years.
