Break and Enter

Police are investigating a break and enter to a hydro compound on South Edgeware Road sometime Monday overnight. Thieves cut the lock to the secure fenced in area stealing some copper flex wire from a spool inside. Theft

Police are investigating after two men entered a computer store on Talbot Street and stole a laptop computer on display. The computer was stolen Saturday afternoon around 2:30 pm and is valued at $1000. Mischief

A thirty one year old St. Thomas man was arrested Tuesday night after he turned himself in at the Colin McGregor Building. The man was wanted by police after he was alleged to have broken a window at an apartment on Princess Ave during an argument. He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Undertaking with court date. He was charged with one count of Mischief to Property Under $5000.

Warrant

A thirty eight year old St. Thomas woman wanted on a warrant was arrested Tuesday night. Officers were dealing with the woman on an unrelated matter when they discovered she was wanted. The warrant was issued after she was alleged to have breached her court ordered release conditions. She was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^4868

Warrant

Twenty six year old Cory Haun was arrested Tuesday evening. A Committal Warrant for Haun’s arrest was issued after his court approved surety revoked their supervision responsibilities. Officers on Community Patrol located him on Metcalfe Street and took him into custody without incident. He was transported directly to the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre. ^4878

Sexual Assault

A thirty three year old St Thomas man was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault Tuesday. The charges were laid following an investigation into a workplace incident. Officers on Community Patrol took the man into custody without incident and transported him to the Colin McGregor Building for processing. He was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^4813

Theft

Police are investigating after two bike were stolen from behind an apartment building on Churchill Crescent. A black bike and a purple motorized bike were reported missing around 1 am Wednesday. The black bike was later discovered in a ravine behind the property however the purple motorized bike was not located. Wanted

Thirty one year old Leigh Buchanan of St. Thomas is wanted. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to attend his scheduled court date to answer to Theft, Fraud, Breach and Break and Enter charges.
