A fatal motorcycle accident which occurred in Lagoon Portsmouth on the evening of Monday August 1st, has claimed the life of a beloved grown lady. The motorcycle and the pedestrian made contact and sadly she was later pronounced dead. It’s a very unfortunate situation for the family and friends of both parties involved in this accident. Janey Christopher the sister of the motorcyclist (John Christopher) extends deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Caribbean News World director, Fabie Jay has reached out to the sister of the motorcyclist for further insights as it relates to the present situation at hand. Miss Christopher told Fabie Jay that her mind is uneasy and blank at this moment – however she would like to take the opportunity to sympathize with the family and friends of the deceased.
“I am very saddened and traumatized about this unfortunate situation and would really really really like to express my deepest deepest deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Although we are in pain ourselves, we know that losing a love one is not easy. We pray that God gives the family the strength to go through this ordeal. With a heavy heart, on behalf of my brother John, and the rest of my family, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased.“
When asked if there’s anything else she would like to say, Janey said she is aware that there will be many different reactions and opinions in the public – especially on social media – but her heart and mind at this time is with the deceased family in their time of grief, and the recovery of her brother’s health both mentally and physically. She also said that she would be very angry and devastated too if the situation was the other way around, however accidents do occur and no one chooses to have an accident.
John was transported to the China friendship hospital with none life threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition. Mr. John Christopher is a primary school teacher for 15 years now. He is currently a long serving teacher at the Vieille Case primary school which is now known as the Baroness Scotland Primary School. Keep both families in your prayers.
Caribbean News World extends sincere condolences to the family and friends of the decease. May her soul rest in Peace.
